The national COVID-19 vaccination campaign

As of Monday, 15 March 2021, four new vaccination centers, specially fitted out for the occasion in dedicated spaces approved by the authorities, will be open at the Darné Clinic in Floréal, at Wellkin Hospital in Moka, at C-Care Clinic Grand Baie and C-Care Clinic Cap Tamarin.

Following strict government guidelines, vaccination will be offered priority to companies and frontliners holding a Work Access Permit (WAP) and by reservation only to avoid crowds and too long a wait. A contribution to the costs of MUR 300 will be requested for this service, in agreement with the authorities.

People interested in being vaccinated are invited to make their reservation from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as follows:

  • For Wellkin Hospital or C-Care Clinic Grand Baie on 605-1111 or www.wellkinhospital.com/vaccination

  • For Clinique Darné or C-Care Clinic Cap Tamarin on 601-2599 or on www.cliniquedarne.com/vaccination

A specific appointment time will be communicated. It will take approximately one hour to complete the vaccination process, including registration, verification of the questionnaire by a doctor, information briefing, vaccination, and mandatory observation 15 minutes post-injection.

Those going to vaccination centers must have the following documents:

  • ID card

  • Confirmation of appointment

  • WAP (Work Access Permit)

No vaccination will be carried out without confirmation of an appointment.

C-Care will be able to vaccinate a limited number of patients in its centers and thank the public in advance to understand if an appointment cannot be obtained immediately due to high demand. Priority will be given to frontliners.

C-Care finally recalls the importance of respecting the instructions and barrier gestures to avoid any spread of the virus.
